Mike Nazzal (guitar, tenor vocals) formed Black Velvet Band in 2003 as an expansion of his musical theatre activities. His acting and directing credits include performances of "42nd Street" at Lakeshore Players Theatre, "Fiddler on the Roof" at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Prior Lake Players.
